RAVIOLI fritti! – Idea Veloce in italiano

I must admit it, I know I should not be calling this a “recipe”, it is just a very quick and easy way to create a tasty snack 🙂 Perfect to share with your friends on a summer dinner or even as an appetizer! Alternative way to have Ravioli !

INGREDIENTS

  • A pack of fresh ravioli
  • 150g of breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper
  • A pack of “dipping sauce”, Mexican sauce for Nachos.

METHOD

  1. Take the ravioli and dip them first into the beaten egg and then roll them into the breadcrumbs (add salt and pepper to the breadcrumbles)
  2. Now fry them in a hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes, turning them occasionally.
  3. Lay them on kitchen paper to drain excess oil.

Serve with Mexican sauce!

NB: I recommend using fresh pasta ravioli, the “dried” ones will not be very good as tend to remain dry even after having been fryed.

Great snack for aperitifs: D
