Straccetti di Pollo al forno con Nociin italiano

Another super quick and yummy recipe, this one is very tasty!

Baked chicken “with a twist”, a crunchy twist I would say, served with lemon sauce!

INGREDIENTS

for 2 servings

  • 200g of boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 8 strips
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 50g of parmisan cheese, grated
  • 100g of bread crumbs
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • 2 ts of mixed herbs
  • 1 ts of patrika
  • 50g of crushed walnuts
  • 50g of mayonese
  • 30g of ketchup
  • 3 tbs of lemon juice

METHOD

  1. Pre-heat oven at 180°
  2. Line a baking pan with parchment paper
  3. Pour the beaten egg in a bowl
  4. In another bowl combine the garlic with the mixed herbs, bread crumbs, parmisan cheese, walnuts and the paprika
  5. Mix well with a fork.
  6. Dip the chicken stripes first into the beaten egg, then into the “dry ingredients” mix that you’ve just made, coat them evenly.
  7. Place them onto the baking pan and bake for 15-18 minutes.

For the Pink lemon sauce:

  1. Combine mayonese, ketchup and lemon juice.

 

I love these chicken stripes, the walnuts give them that extra crunchiness and dipped into the pink lemon mayo…delicious!
